In the beginning of the presentation, Eissa  welcomed everyone and then said I'll tell you about the best hobby, photography, and Eissa opened  his presentation  very well.   Eissa was initially bemused and then returned to his usual confidence with everyone's attention to him. He was balanced and had eye contact with the students and professor.

Eissa told us he had his debut with the cameras in 2008 with a Nikon D80 camera.

The beautiful thing is that the camera and camera equipment    was with Eissa in the class.

Then Eissa explained the photographs which told us about. He said there were 6 different types of photography: 1- night photography, 2-panorama photography, 3-portrait photography, 4-bokeh photography, 5-architecture photography 6-slow shutter photography. Eissa explained that all types of photography are beautiful and easy. And everyone was surprised by the information provided and by the photos and the types of photography. In the end I'm glad I watched the show and took advantage of a lot of useful information in the world of camera images and I am sure that everyone got useful information about the camera.

Reflection

It was useful and interesting to make a meeting with colleagues to discuss the issue that we have chosen from among the available themes; after consultation, the topic chosen was congestion problems and parking problems at the Higher College of Technology.

We tried to find as many possible solutions because students do not find parking easy, Chair: Eissa started the meeting, welcoming us and introducing the problem we’re discussing and he encouraged the members in the group to put up solutions. During the meeting there were many ideas After thinking and discussion we chose the best possible solution such as building a building containing parking, and put stickers on cars in the mirror, and building a new college for those living outside Abu Dhabi island and parking in front of the F Block; some suggestions were agreed by some and some were considered not to help to solve the problem. At the end of the meeting are summarized possible ideas to solve the problem and present the plan which we set to solve the problem of parking and congestion, and the meeting concluded with chairman Eissa bringing an end to the meeting; it was wonderful at the end; he thanked us for participating in and contributing effectively to the meeting .
Personally I gained trust through conversation and exchange of views on the problem; I gained experience in developing solutions to the problems and it was a happy opportunity to work with the group; I  hope to get other opportunities to gain more experience in the subjects which required solutions.

The minutes

Problem: traffic and parking issues at the college

Date of meeting: 17/3/2013
Time of meeting: 10:35am
Venue: C001
Group members:
Chair: Eissa.
Secretary: Maaaz.
Participant: Hedley.
Venue preparation:
Grouping of chairs round tables

Agenda:

- Extend the back parking area (behind F block).

- Change the building location (outside the island).

- Give the student stickers for car parking.

- Paid parking/short term – long term.

- Build three floor parking.

Eissa who was chairman started talking about the parking problems at Abu Dhabi Men’s College at 10:36am.

1- Extend the back parking area (behind F block).

Maaaz thought was an a acceptable idea

Eissa said it is not a very good idea because this area is too far from classes.

Hedley accepted the idea because he said we are already parking there sometimes.

2- Change the building location (outside the island).

Eissa said this solution will be too expensive.

Maaaz agreed with it, because he thinks it will reduce traffic.

Hedley worried about the teachers and students who live on the island; it will be too far from them.

3- Give the student stickers for car parking.

Maaaz said it is a good idea, because the college has applied it, and he thought it was good.

Eissa said it did not achieve the desired success.

Hedley disagreed with it because it will not decrease the number of cars in the parking area.

4- Paid parking/short term – long term.

Eissa said it is bad; the study at college is free, so must the parking be free also.

Maaaz supported the idea because he thinks it will help students to find parking.

Hedley did not agree with it, because he thinks it will not reduce congestion.

5- Build three-floor parking.

Eissa strongly agreed with it, because he thinks it will be the best solution to reduce the parking traffic.

Maaz agreed with Eissa; he thinks also it is a good idea.

Hedley worried when we close the area where we will build it, that it will come more traffic. Then Eissa said we will build it in the summer, when the number of students is small.

In conclusion we thought that:

· Some of our solutions are good, but it will not be good for a long time, because the number of students is increasing every year, and buying a car has became easier.

· The last point is the best solution (build three floor parking), because it will solve the parking problem for the long term.

Interview Assessment (Report)

I will discuss in my report:  the interview that has been done for Mohamed Ahmed  (H00247456); he applied for a post in the human resources in Etisalat company and was interviewed by Sultan Ahmad  Alqubaisi (H00247456) and  Mohamed Awadh Almessabi(H00230922) .   The interview took place in Room C003 of ADMC on Tuesday  26/2/2013  at 11:45 am.  Mohamed Ahmed has a bachelor degree in human resources; he studied in Abu Dhabi Men’s College, and his age is 19  years old. He does not have the experience because did not  get a job  before.  Mohamed In the beginning of the interview seemed confused because this is his first job interview, but he talked clearly when he spoke about himself, When he spoke he  did not move his hand . He was sitting in the seat properly and looked forward and waited for questions, He looked like he was confident but was dominated by confusion at  some times.

His voice was not high or low but moderate but he speaks quickly, making it difficult to understand ,  Pertaining to language he used simple words ; he was  wearing the dress of the UAE, the khandura without ghutra. His personality was not fully balanced, especially in some of the questions that were at the beginning of the interview

The question that he did not know the answer to it is what are the strengths and weaknesses in his character.

I think you should give him the opportunity to work through his training programs to help him gain knowledge and experience and to be a personality compatible with his work.
